ASSEMBLYMEMBER MARITZA DAVILA ENDORSES COMPTROLLER SCOTT STRINGER FOR MAYOR

Bushwick – Today, Assemblymember Maritza Davila endorsed Comptroller Scott Stringer’s campaign for Mayor of the City of New York. Assemblymember Davila, a longtime community organizer and champion for public education, emphasized Stringer’s commitment to early education and child care expansion, as well as his skills and experience to lead New York City out of crisis.

Assemblymember Maritza Davila said: “Today I’m proud to announce my endorsement of Scott Stringer for Mayor of New York City. I have known Scott for over 10 years and have seen the hard work and dedication he brings to his job in public service. With Scott as mayor, I know he will work to implement his bold plan to expand quality child care, provide early education, and support all of our babies. And I’m certain he will bring his passion for this City to Gracie Mansion and work tirelessly to lead New York out of crisis.”

Comptroller Scott Stringer said: “Assemblymember Davila has spent her life on the frontlines serving her neighbors and standing up for disenfranchised communities. She’s a longtime champion for children and she knows that an equitable recovery rests on providing quality care to all of our kids. I’m proud to earn Maritza’s support in this campaign, and I look forward to fighting with her for working families in Northern Brooklyn and across this City.”
